Our Founding Story

For twenty-five years, the RTSM industry has been trapped in a cycle of isolation and repetition, resulting from a lack of industry-wide collaboration and innovation that perpetuated operational, data, and regulatory challenges. 

The RTSM Professionals Society (RPS) emerged from the recognition that our field had reached a breaking point. We were tired of reinventing the wheel, watching data scatter across hundreds of disconnected systems, and seeing the same avoidable errors repeat across organizations. 

What began as informal conversations among RTSM veterans about the urgent need for standardization and community, soon evolved into a formal commitment: to establish an independent, professional society that RTSM has long deserved. One dedicated to advancing our science, sharing knowledge, and ensuring that the vital work of RTSM professionals finally has the collaborative foundation it needs to thrive.
